The Baptism Dates That Weren't Set

So this has been a good week. When we started, Elder Saumweber and I had a goal of getting both our progressing investigators on date for baptism.  As you can tell from the subject line... That didn't happen. Instead, we had the opportunity to be led by the Spirit in addressing the needs of our investigator.  We were able to help one as she moved into a new apartment, helping her move a bed that she wouldn't have been able to get done by herself. The other we were able to talk with about Conference, priesthood organization, and the Sabbath day.  Both experiences were awesome, and the Spirit testified to us that they were exactly what was needed at that time.  I am so grateful for guidance in this work.  Its good to know that when we live worthy and seek help, Christ is willing to put his hand out and help us find the right way.  Its something I've grown to recognize and appreciate a lot more as I've been able to serve here in Edmonton.

Aside from the spiritual awesomeness that comes from teaching people about Christ, this week has been very slow.  Elder Saumweber and I were both feeling a little sick at different times throughout the week, and so we spent a good amount of time in-doors, trying to recuperate.  We are both well now and looking forward to a new week and new experiences.

Love you all and hope you are doing well!
